Matt Pritikin, LSWÂ is a Licensed Social Worker who provides individual and couples therapy to adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship stress, academic and work-related pressure, and family or parenting concerns. He has a particular interest in helping clients manage anxiety, strengthen emotional regulation, and build confidence during periods of change.
Matt earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and his Master of Social Work from Seton Hall University. He completed multiple clinical placements across healthcare, community mental health, and school-based settings, gaining experience in psychological assessment, individualized treatment planning, and intensive therapeutic support for diverse populations.
Matt takes a practical, grounded approach to therapy and draws from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and strengths-based interventions. At Lighthouse Counseling Group, he is committed to creating a collaborative, judgment-free environment where clients feel understood, respected, and supported as they develop insight, effective coping tools, and a stronger sense of self. Outside of his clinical work, Matt lives with his wife and children in New Jersey, an experience that informs his understanding of family dynamics and life transitions.
